Bald Cypress #2

Here is my second attempt at a flat top. It was a cutting off another bald cypress last summer. Theres a couple of young branches shooting bolt upright which will be corrected as they lignify. As you can see, I have this as #2 because I am working on a much bigger blog post on #1.
I think this Iker pot and the dark blue suits it well. All comments and critiques are welcome and urged. Thank you.


Here’s an update as of November 2013.
Now one thing i would like to point out about YEARS with a tree is how theres that eureka moment as you water and gaze upon a tree, you see a 100 times better design idea revolving around simply cutting a branch off….well thats what occurred with this cypress. I really like how the foliage areas are not so heavy anymore and the trunk is furthur emphasised.
